That's not how I read it.
I read it as if he was giving KB a compliment and was impressed with with the screen on the meter.
Who knows, maybe the poster's cell phone has an LED screen, who knows? And who cares.
Again besides the point. The poster's point is the meter not a freaking cell phone. He's sharing with us how he is happy with the meter because of the screen and he's also impressed with KB.
