dw, my 2 bits is the markets flat line for many years like from 1965 to 1982, at best. But, I the remote chance that I am right, there will be many group rotation trading tends built in. The end of the 17 year flat line was very high inflation and interest rates. Many good stocks had PE's of 7 or less with 10% revenue growth and profits. PE's now above 20 are not uncommon
