It's been answered on this board more than once since his departure, and in PM's as well. I answered that one on the board myself. It was Oscar Herrera's rolodex that got us in the race, NOT any of those high-priced hopefuls that were approached as a result of sales hype and pure cronyism.

I agree, Doug Gillen is an exciting addition to the team. The primary difference with this addition to the team is that this time, one of our own management team members (Oscar again) reached out to this guy based on a thorough knowledge of his abilities and contacts, NOT by hearsay, but through first hand business dealings with him.
