I have always wondered why royalties weren't adjusted in tandem with the market share the drug commands. Start slow at the beginning until you find if the drug is accepted, then ramp up as it becomes more and more lucrative. If a small biotech develops a tremendously profitable drug, IMO they deserve a larger percentage of the revenues (and vice versa).
