The crazy thing to me is that the FDA is not approving the "drug" (insulin), but the delivery method (buccal spray) and formulation (concentration of insulin). You think there would be a shorter (cheaper) trial test script for that. Plus we did get IND approval back in 2009 for the "original" formulation.
