It all depends how much of the cake they want, sure. Since these investors are professional from the field - their bid will make a difference.
Doesn't matter if they buy shares or get royalties, it is the same cake mathematically - both 'equities' represent the same value of revenue and profits. Both are 'all in'.
It would give us the cash needed for the pipeline and the needed validation from a 3rd party. Maybe this little turn has been made thanks to RP, who is not so patient going forward with his research. That would be great.
