His bone spur mysteriously never affected him on the athletic field or on the drill field in military school.
Nobody is questioning legitimate medical exemptions from the draft.
His lack of character, integrity and truthfulness in the years since do not earn him the benefit of the doubt on the bone spur.
He can't even remember which foot. Would YOU forget something like that, particularly if it 'earned' you a medical deferment?
