A chance because the limitations with BMW & Mercedes current DD is as follows.
Bmw co-developed with apple Carplay, which both BMW-Mercedes offers.

..only if you are purchasing a Mercedes-Benz with Apple CarPlay already installed.
..So, neither Apple CarPlay nor Android Auto can be installed as after market accessories on older Mercedes-Benz models.

$300 bucks plus $80 annual feel, twice the cost of Bsafe second option buy new Bmw or Mercedes with hardware installed and limitation is older models may not function. I imagine if the deal happens Bsafe will offer Auto-Manufacturer an App preinstalled available in BMW Labs and Mercedes-apple IOS should they sign.
Besides the auto industry, there is insurance, fleet, other applications for the software, construction. Right now I have only focused on Auto.
Timelines is future based I can't predict but I can follow trends in technology and find value where applied.
