TC, LOL, no I was not going to sell any shares either way. Don't want to take a chance of missing out if a big announcment comes, plus I'm not as good at day trading as some of you are.
I was just concerned that if the company had gotten it wrong it would come back to bite us. One of the links posted yesterday was about a group of shareholders who sued the company because they screwed up the ex-div date. Don't want that happening to us!
And I am still puzzled as to why the SEC (not just any old internet site but the official SEC site!) would say the date is the day after the payment date. Guess we will never know!
