RJ, yes they are similar. The first 3 specify that they will do the spinoff the way the SEC specifies - trading between record date and payment date comes with a due bill. After payment date the "regular trading" (their term) begins. The fourth link you listed did not specify when the ex-div date was.

So, again, why would GNBT be any different than the Netgear,Honeywell, etc spinoffs? Why would GNBT have a different ex-div date?
