that's how I understand it. Monday is ex-dividend date, or the day the stock trades without benefits/dividend. Think of it like the breakup day in a relationship when the other person becomes your EX.
people buying today will get the shares in the new ticker from their broker, instead of directly from GNBT. people selling shares today will no longer be entitled to the dividend.
