We're nervous because it appears that GNBT could be making a mistake on the ex-dividend date, and if so, then this could be a nightmare to straighten out. If they tell everyone the ex-dividend date in Monday, and it turns out the date should be Feb 26, then this creates a big mess and makes the company look bad. Plus, it puts the stock in a limbo period for 4 weeks where no one wants to buy the stock because they won't get the dividend.

In the PR, it said the GNBT "believes" the ex-dividend date is Jan 28. That makes it sound like some higher power is setting the date, but it's them,right? They are settng the date. Confusing all around.
