Had to chime in on the gift card exchange....
I think of it like eBay when it was just getting started (not now, that would be an unrealistic comparison). The point is, it would be a very low investment low risk revenue stream. The key is HEXA would not have to provide any inventory. The general public would post gift cards and exchange them used to user, just like eBay. Then HEXA just takes a small cut for facilitating the deal. Would be slow going at first, but if popularity picked up, would be a constant safe revenue stream with low cost to maintain the website and whatever else necessary to keep it going. They could also sell advertising space.
Was I a little disappointed to hear this as our 6th leg, yes... but I don’t think it’s a looser.
