Kerry Blasts 'Lying' Trump for Pulling Out of Paris Accord
Former Secretary of State John Kerry said Wednesday in Switzerland that "people will die" because of President Trump's decision to pull the United States out of the Paris Climate Accord.
Speaking in Davos at the World Economic Forum, Kerry told CNBC he is "disappointed when a president of the United States lies."
"There's no burden that Paris did not place outside the burdens levied by any other country," Kerry, a former Massachusetts senator, said.
Kerry blasted Trump on several fronts, wishing aloud that there was a legal capacity to "hold people liable for such an insane decision."
