"Mark Risher, the head of security at Google, has stated that the 2 Factor Authentication(2FA) that uses an SMS is to blame for the increased sim swapping cryptocurrency crimes.
According to Risher, the volatility of the crypto market has made sim swapping a good avenue for online criminals to steal crypto from investors.
