Re: Big Papa Bear #47024
Great post PapaBear! . . . . . . . . . . .
We will probably see the Judges hammer out a page or a page and a half written decision. Court date is Feb 4th Monday I would be shocked if we don't see a written decision later that same week.
With Patent validated and PTAB in force Sec Auth is in same boat as Duo Centrify and I think Vasco is the third. With no hope of a trial victory like Duo Centrify and Vasco I see SEC Auth immediately going into settlement talks
Sec Auth raised no other issues other than alice 101. If they went back to trial , what would they argue? Do they want to go to trial to risk treble damages and even punitive damages. NO IMO
You have a great take my friend! I am trying to think of how much of a bump we realize PPS wise from the reversal with all the settlements with Duo Centrify Vasco Sec Auth and Trustwave being back in the front burner. Thoughts?
Should be fun to watch it unfold
