White House says despite shutdown tax refunds will go out
WASHINGTON (SBG) - Even though the government remains shutdown there is some good news to report.
Russell Vought, the acting director of the Office of Management and Budget told reporters Monday the Trump administration is working to avoid a delay in payouts of tax refunds to millions of Americans.
Typically during a shutdown, the IRS does not perform audits, pay refunds or offer assistance to taxpayers.
