I’d like to go a step further if I may.
IMO, the Trumpanzees have swallowed the fear promulgated by the current idiot in the White House. My guess is few if any of those posting here live near the boarder or have been affected in any way, shape or form by an illegal crossing. It is simply the faux outrage shared by DT, that the gullible swallow when one is a rampant racist and xenophobic. Sensible infrastructure upgrades and actually training and hiring of. qualified boarder patrol with advanced tech is more cost effective then a 5 billion dollar ego trip.
I know these types well. I’ve had to deal with and respond to their vapid ignorance my entire adult life.
