Typically, independent prosecutors who are hired by the Government to investigate, well, they investigate for criminality by an elected official, because elected officials aren't supposed to be criminals.
I've heard the above in varying forms from just about every Trump supporter I've run across and it lacks any responsibility, any commitment to truth or facts, or supporting evidence. It's a free range hiccup of a thought that goes nowhere, addresses nothing, and is committed to nothing but trivial randomness. It's the many people syndrome.
