Glow worm from the other board made a post that might make sense for once. He said the results have to be published in a peer reviewed journal BEFORE the company can announce the results publicly. Might be true, I really don't know. Peer review can also take the form of presenting the results at a peer reviewed conference, not just publishing. FWIW.
