There have not been buy-outs of QD manufacturers. QD Vision was mostly a bankruptcy sale.

I can't see a buyout coming when licensing with royalties does the same thing with much lower capex for the partner.

Also, can't see how buyer would capitalize all the different potential income streams. The QMC strategy in India can be repeated for the display industry, SSL industry, Solar, Bio, IoT, and also by other whole industrialized countries. Think bigger.
