In 2017 the market was continuing the 7 year recovery that that the previous administration managed perfectly. Yet, in spite of having nothing to do with the continued market rise, Trump took credit for it. In 2018 the Trump economic policy takes effect and we saw the biggest drop since the economic disaster in Bush's presidency. Now Trump blames everyone else he can scapegoat for his economic failures
