I get it. Someone saying that just because someone has checked on a fact, it may not be true because someone wants to say it isn't, whether or not it is.
But if you object to someone's claim (based on no evidence) that the original poster's research isn't to be believed, that means you are trying to stifle a discussion.
That kind of illogic doesn't work here.
