It’s entirely possible that the leach pad may have to be deconstructed and rebuilt. If not, your main costs would be fuel, cyanide, man hours. It adds up quickly, so the recovery rates have got to be good. Not sure what heavy machinery is left to either redo pad or load current pad with MarMar gone? The pond may have to be drained and sediment removed if there is any chance the old residue would foul up the new process. Hard to say without knowing the current status of the pond and pad. Might be best to just start a new pad and mix in some of the stuff from the old pad a little at a time, if it can be done without fouling up the new chemistry. They have the plant and the water source in place, but it seems that Mexus would have to find funding to put it all back into operation.
