Chelsea Clinton busted in a NASTY lie (she said WHAT!?)
With Chelsea Clinton, the rotten apple doesn’t fall far from her political family tree.
The former first daughter used her public profile Thursday to circulate a nasty lie about President Donald Trump’s administration to her 2.4 million followers.
And it’s more Clinton fake news.
Chelsea retweeted an article accusing Trump of targeting HIV-positive members of the military with the comment, “Donald Trump is firing HIV positive service members right before Christmas.”
The article’s point is obvious: Trump doesn’t care about our military.
Of course, that’s 100 percent not true.
Service members aren’t being removed from the military simply for being HIV-positive. They’re being removed because their illness has made them unable to deploy, which is a violation of a rule meant to keep our military up to a fighting standard.
These servicemen and women would be removed for any illness that made them incapable of doing their job. After all, the military isn’t an liberal arts college where everyone is given a participation trophy just for showing up.
It’s a fighting force that does battle with evil around the world to protect democracy and America.
If a soldier or airmen or Marine can’t deploy because of an illness — no matter what that illness is — they’re no longer capable of completing their mission and are removed.
If a soldier has an illness that makes them a danger to their fellow soldiers — like, say, an incurable blood-borne disease in a job where blood is regularly spilled — they’re also removed.
Additionally, what Chelsea and her media friends failed to mention is that it’s often decided that some HIV-positive military members are fit enough to deploy. When they are, they continue to serve honorably. It’s up to the military doctors to decide — not liberal politicians.
It’s as simple as that.
“The Air Force does not find all Airmen with asymptomatic HIV unfit, and has returned more than 150 such Airmen to duty,” Air Force spokeswoman Ann Stefanek said about the allegations against Trump after two airmen sued for being removed.
“Any Airman with a chronic or progressive illness is referred to the Disability Evaluation System for medical evaluation of fitness for continued service,” Stefanek added. “Each fitness determination is conducted on a case by case basis.”
Anything else the mainstream media — or Chelsea Clinton — says is simply fake news.
