I received a phone call from medium level member of a multi-entity partnership that holds a lot of DECN shares, and he told me that the deal that Alpine struck calls for them to divest of their "beneath NASDAQ level" holdings. The guy told me that he heard it from an Alpine guy who had worked at Alpine for over 20 years and was inquiring as to whether any positions were open.
Two things about that:
1. KB absolutely hates alpine because they cater primarily to stock jockeys like our friend hi-there and most of the poster types on iHub.
2. Alpine is well known to naked short smaller penny stocks because they primarily represent the sell side of micro-micro cap stocks. There motto is, we are the sell side broker and when we sell, we sell one for you and three for us.
