A few weeks ago I was trying to look for answers on DWAC and FAST in regards to shorting. I did not find what I was in search of. I found that instead of needing paper certificates to round up the shares and the holders, that DWAC did that electronically. I made the assumption that that could help the shorting issue, but I did not have a conclusive feeling about my assumption, seeing as I could not back it from elsewhere. The way you phrased it helped a ton and added some much needed answers in the process. Thanks very much for your insights!
