Office Lease
Dr. Menon, the Company’s principal shareholder, President of Research, and Director, also serves as the Chief Operating Officer and Director of Kard Scientific (“KARD”). On December 7, 2007, the Company began renting office space from KARD, and since September 1, 2013, the Company no longer leases space from KARD. At June 30, 2018 and June 30, 2017, rent payable to KARD of approximately $10,000 and $21,000, respectively, were included in accrued expenses.
In September 2013, the Company signed a lease extension agreement with Cummings Properties for the company’s offices and laboratories at 100 Cummings Center, Suite 151-B Beverly, MA 01915. The lease is for a term of five years from October 1, 2013 to September 30, 2018 and requires monthly payments of approximately $18,000. The Company had taken over the space occupied by KARD. In addition, Innovative Medical Research Inc., a company owned by Mr. Ehrlich and Dr. Menon, officers of the Company, has co-signed the lease.
