You may be right. Maybe Steve did get our hopes up about a BIG PL name that we didn't get, but, we are that much closer to it. The customer will decide the best time to start THEIR ad campaign. Traditionally, holiday seasons are good times to run a new ad campaign. You get the carryover effect of friends & families spending a lot of time together.
We missed Hanukkah. Maybe it is the week before Christmas (next week)? Maybe the best week is the week between Christmas & New Year. I don't claim to know, but, I'll bet this new customer does. Since insurance companies are not selling a retail product per se, maybe the only tie to holidays is the time for communications and watching TV; etc. and, not gift buying.
Do insurance companies do a lot of advertising during NFL playoffs and College Bowl season? Maybe the TV ads are the key behind the release date?? It seems like insurance companies do a lot of advertising all of the time, but just maybe they launch NEW advertising programs this time of the year.
I think odds are our first BIG PL deal will be with an insurance company. Talk about the proverbial WIN/WIN! Insurance companies are in a position to (definitely) help save lives - WOW - while reducing their customers premiums AND, simultaneously, reducing their claims/liabilities (maybe) substantially. The customer buys enhanced insurance protection for a lower premium while their family is driving in a safer environment. (i.e. your kid is not texting & driving) and the customer is avoiding unnecessary and unpleasant legal issues. Same goes for our Business customers as they protect their employees and reduce their liabilities (and, are good corporate citizens).
All of this for an upfront fee of a couple hundred dollars! Sign me up!
Sorry, just my thoughts! Go ONCI
