That's one idea....seems like a product of retrofit overlays using a QD-solar film product to revitalize &/or upgrade outdated existing panels could be a winner as well. Just snap-to-fit over the existing module frameworks then plug-&-play...little added weight, no structural changes, low cost/more efficient upgrade, simple installation procedure, what's not to like. Many existing installations are either outdated &/or approaching there performance expiration points already, w/ more going non-op all the time. Take what's there & run w/ it on a sustainable basis
