I think SFOR would be happy to accept settlement offers that are quite good; that is, based on nearly what would be achieved after a trial. That would get them money quicker and set the bar high for getting other infringes to settle.
Of course, winning a big jury settlement would be even better, but much slower and there is always a risk.
I'm just speculating of course.
