Nfusz does not have a patent for the technology yet they have simply filed for one that may have been a preliminary patent application. You have one year from the date of filing of a preliminary patent to convert it into a full patent application. I’m not sure what the status of theirs is because I haven’t looked at it yet. When you file for a patent you try to cast a wide net relative to your claims because the patent examiner will likely strike many of the claims either due to prior art that exists or other patents. If the patent examiner believes there is enough in the patent to justify at least approving some of the claims the patent will publish and be visible to everybody doing searches. Just because you’re patent publishes doesn’t mean that it’s been issued yet although that office action in itself is a very positive sign and once the patent does publish you can officially put companies on notice that are violating the claims that have not been stricken.
