It's all about risk/reward and knowing what you own.
Inspirational story bandg. I remember discussing CTIX years ago with a few heavy hitters. A couple of them would only play the momentum of any moves. And they did. And made out pretty well. For the most part they wouldn't take a solid "investment" position until the science proved to be moving forward.
I've seen plenty of companies shelve their products for one reason or another, usually it's NOT because of the lack of funding, usually it's because either the product needs major work to prevent from killing people or it simply doesn't cut the mustard.
Leo squirreled himself into a corner with the funding. So far the science is ready to move forward on all fronts.

It has been proving itself.


Now it's money time. I think with a little patience, we'll see the reward.


But that's just my DD talking. And there's some pretty deep pockets still hangin around waiting, and with a nice chunk of shares too.
