StrikeForce won all counts in the PTAB that its patent is not abstract and that it is a valid patent. The supreme court ruled earlier this year that the PTAB court has the constitutional responsibility to decide whether a patent is valid or not. So when a lower court says it is not valid due to the alice reasoning, it is about to be reversed in the higher court. Based on what I understand, If reversed, They cannot appeal the higher courts ruling. So when reversed and remanded back down, my understanding is that they can settle at that point or go straight to jury trial where the jury will rule they owe StrikeForce back revenue and decide how much to assess against them for damages.
