Many people fail to see the "game".
The Democrats had a "love/hate" relationship with James Comey. It depended on which way the wind was blowing on a given day.
Then Rod Rosenstein wrote a letter to Trump recommending that he fire Comey.
Instantly Rosenstein had earned the hatred and wrath of the rats.
To regain their love, he appointed crooked cop Mueller as the special counsel and he was back in their good graces.
Early, FBI agents including Strczk admitted that there was no "there there" of Trump collusion so Mueller would have to find a crime.
It became Mueller's job to attack any and all of Trump's administration members, his business partners and friends. Desperately searching for any crime he could find.
It was Mueller's job to set Trump up for impeachment and Mueller failed!
