TC, you should make detailed notes of the conversations, with names, times, content, questions, etc. If TDA has this as a forward split rather than as a dividend, they are subject to major liability for losses that might be incurred because of their error. Certainly if you can prove you tried to sell and TDA did not allow you to because they don't recognize shares GNBT gave as of 11/30, it appears that TDA would be accountable for that error.

I am disappointed to hear the TDA doesn't understand what is going on, and they refuse to research it to correct their error. I have two accounts with them which I now believe I will consolidate into my Fidelity accounts. Those kinds of errors are unforgivable when it's MY (our) money!
