I hope this week is fun. Quoting KM response to citation of supplemental authority. "Humans have practiced such "out-of-band authentication" without computers at least since ancient Greece.
Somebody needs to send these guys a telegraph and tell them about the future and how computers run almost everything in 2018. Its gets funnier every time I read it.
It was done without computers.
Computers came along and we still needed a way to do it.
Some bright folks invented a new system by writing a series of code to perform specific functions to route information through a technical path of hardware, software, and network that changed the authentication system. A patent was issued. SFOR just happens to be the smart ones who did it.
I like analogies so here is mine.
Take fire for example. I'm sure there are no worthy patents for lighters because we have rubbed sticks together or struck pieces of flint for thousands of years and made fire that way!
Yeah I'm rambling a bit but I'm bored and their argument is almost as solid as a recycled plastic grocery bag half-filled with room temperature air. :}
