What a bunch or RW crap. Obama sure didn't oppose fracking which is the primary reason for the increases in production.

And if you check....novel idea that.... you will find that there was and is no support for more off shore drilling by the STATES on shore.

Jeeezus, the willful stupidity.

Of course he shut down the Gulf drilling. Do you remember the huge f*cking spill? Know what it cost the fishing and crabbing industries in the Gulf? Another reason why other States say f*ck no! Not off our shores you don't.

The XL pipeline has nothing to do with domestic production, it's Canadian tar sands sludge being transported for export.

And yeah, we REALLY want more drilling in our national parks.

Hofmeister said Obama opposed the energy industry at every turn with his actions against offshore drilling and his handling of the Keystone Pipeline.

“If anything, he was trying to frustrate the efforts by taking federal lands off of the availability list — Putting them just, no more drilling (sic). He shut down the Gulf of Mexico for a period of six months,” he said.
