As usual you are badly misinformed. The continuation of a bailout that GM needed to survive was contingent on the bankruptcy.

The restructuring NEEDED to address the reasons GM was in trouble. Namely making too many cars people didn't want to buy.

You noticed that GM DID survive and DID return to profitability, right?

Of course not, your ideological blinders and your chronic inability to ask 'then what happened?' have sunk you again.

So Obama gave a pep talk, so what? Why don't you chronicle Trump's lies from the wall to bringing auto manufacturing back to whichever areas he was speaking in?

Doesn't mater who Obama was raised by, his experience HAD to be black for obvious reasons. As he succinctly described, he was reminded whenever he needed to hail a cab.

I'll take Obama's 'black preacher' over Trump's semiliterate, childish vocabulary laden word salad 'speeches', any day.

A simpleton president for simpletons.

Let's see Trump come up with a plan for GM to reverse it's decision.

He can't and he won't.

Quote:
Working with my auto task force, GM and its stakeholders have produced a viable, achievable plan that will give this iconic American company a chance to rise again," the president said at a White House news conference. "It's a plan tailored to the realities of today's auto market, a plan that positions GM to move toward profitability, even if it takes longer than expected for our economy to fully recover."

The plan calls for the U.S. government to increase its investment in GM by $30 billion, for a total of $50 billion in aid, giving the government a 60 percent stake in the company, Obama said. Still, he underscored that he has no interest in getting into the auto manufacturing industry.
