Absolutely nothing you've mentioned can excuse Trump's absence from the ceremonial/memorial duties that all other presidents have attended.
You absolutely would have not cut Obama any slack for what Trump as absented himself from. Nor for haranguing the troops over the phone with his bullshit grievances.
Stop making excuses for the inexcusable; though I get that you're just 'warming up in the bullpen' for the excuse fest that Trumpanzees will be holding in the very near future.
