With 99% of OTC stocks I would definitely cash out (or sell at least half of my shares) at .50 or $1 because, in general, OTC stock prices can be very volatile.
But SFOR seems different (worth holding long term) and may be a once in a lifetime (retirement) stock. Also, IMO you probably won’t lose money here if you hold for a year or more for a higher price and you will pay much lower taxes on long-term capital gains.
My strategy is to wait for $1 PPS and then sell ONLY WHAT I NEED to pay off any bills/debts and get money to live off of for the next year, -since I’m retired.
The rest (the majority) of my shares I’m planning to hold long-term and see what happens (hoping for a much higher price).
Of course the above is not investment advice and you will need to do what is best for you.
