I can’t imagine they would get to keep the illgotten profits. I would think that APEX takes the sales proceeds and uses that to buy back stop. They became a MM in this transaction. So they may benefit, if they buy the shares back for less money...and lose if they can’t. But in no way can the investor keep the proceeds...IMO.
