Bashers don't need to come out with guns blazing.There are subtle bashers too.The "conundrum" is being negative while convincing others that one is legit.

Human nature is not like that.When people buy something (car,product,or in this case stock) and they are dissatisfied with it they don't "bash" it in front of others because it is embarrassing and it makes others think the "buyer" is a poor judge of quality.Most would dispose of the item or sell it and move on quietly.Not admit to the world they made a lousy choice.

To say one is invested here and at the same time being negative about it is an oxymoron-ish statement.If a loss is involved,most would either bite the bullet and move on or would talk the stock up not down in hopes of selling at a better price.

Sort of like getting married.Why bitch about the spouse after getting married?Where's that going to get you?It woud be better to "talk them up"and help them improve than to downgrade and make things worse.
