I don’t think this is an entirely bad move. It appears to me that Andiamo is behaving very similarly to an equity firm, much like one I used to work for. The goal of the firm was to invest in various medical start-ups, boutique clinics and such, and then manage the administrative/accounting side of things while letting local managers run the business.

Maybe I am wrong, and Andiamo is gone loco or something... but I will say that the equity firm I worked for was rolling in cash, and I really mean rolling.
