A famous actor has made his way around Frederick, Maryland on Monday for a special screening of his movie.
The movie called, Getting Grace is about a 16-year-old girl, dying of cancer, who teaches a funeral director how to live. The movie stars and is directed by Daniel Roebuck. Roebuck partnered with a local funeral home, Stauffer Funeral Homes and Hospice of Frederick County to help bring the movie to the area. Roebuck said he wants this movie to be a reminder that people should live in the moment.
“We get so caught up in so much anxiety and I would love to get Getting Grace to be the reminder that all you have to do is open your eyes and see that the day is here,” said Roebuck.
