If by that you mean the company or trading therein... the worst part is - the allegation doesn't even have to be true... "to start an investigation".  The investigation is front page news, while the finding that there is no wrong doing is buried on the back page.

There is an excellent article about raiding stocks at the link below.  The author is selling a service subtly towards the end, but the information provided is apparently accurate, and useful.  Its just amazing to read that this crap really goes on.  If you have some time, I think, its worth the read.
