That’s Warren Buffet’s First piece of advice to would-be-Investors: “Be prepared to lose 50% of your investment.” He meant, be prepared for 50% drawdowns, because it is in the nature of volatile business and market dynamics for such things to be probable. But then, the principals alter their strategy, communicate reassuringly to investors, and strength in share price begins to build again. This market has been whip-sawed recently. Look what happened to some very big names! Those investing on margin sell non-marginable stocks FIRST, when margin calls are looming. I’d say we are “blood in the streets” territory right now, especially hard on those in these micro-cap/nano-cap stocks. I’ve been Tomohawked in about 6 of mine in only a few weeks. 35-50% drawdowns in short order. Shades of 2008. It has to turn around fairly soon.
