The actual announcement of Canadian recreational cannabis legalization on October 17 led to perhaps the most obvious sell-the-news reaction in stock market history. Pot stocks have been smacked in the interim.
That was expected. What was also expected – at least by us – was the beginning of a process of sorting the wheat from the chaff. This is when relative strength is extremely important.
One cannabis play that shown an extremely amount of relative strength over the past couple weeks is KNHBF, which has basically treaded sideways since the announcement. Why?
