I realize that understanding that America is both, that it's government like its economy is 'mixed', it too difficult for you to grasp.

But we have direct election of Senators and Representatives, Federal and State, and direct election of Governors as well

Some of our representatives, and even the Electoral college elected president, take it as their mission to represent all of us.

Too many believe that they must ratify only the beliefs of their supporters, and they act accordingly and therefore divisively.

That's the 'we won F.U. theory of governance' we see espoused by some on this board

So, 'mixed'.

The economy is neither unregulated nor unsubsidized, and the Red State dependency on redistribution of tax revue is decidedly 'socialistic'.
