Hey Bud. Good question, but, I think Steve is the only one who can answer it. I have a couple guesses - and, they are just that.
Maybe something legal picked up on. Maybe patent or copyright issue. Maybe something didn't jive with something the new company (PL) is already doing. Maybe something related to possibility of Hexagon forming.
Maybe someone noticed a conflict when the 2nd PL entered into play. I can't imagine that Steve would have considered anything "exclusive" to one PL, but, maybe one or the other is looking for limitations in ad campaigns.
When in doubt, blame the attorneys! Go ONCI
